I'm really excited to share this ebook with you, not just because of Steve's experience, which is incredible, but the fact that there is so much great content in the original two-part podcast that we wanted to make sure to do it justice by designing a quick ebook version of the content.  It is a quick read but it is packed with 30 years of church planting experience.  It is one that I am still digesting.  That is why I want to share it with you for free!

  • We started this humble podcast in 2013.  The goal was simple, to create a podcast that would address the unique issues, challenges, and struggles that church planters and missional leaders face. Over the years we have been able to connect with some great leaders and learn a lot about church planter.  After a few brief (1-2 year breaks), 3 boys in the house, a major move, and the launch of a new church planting network (thekairosnetwork.com) we are back and better than ever!  In our relaunch we have included some classic episodes alongside our new content.  I hope you enjoy the relaunch, and my prayer is that it helps you in your own planting journey.

  • Ross Turner went from building a logo for one real-estate agent, to running marketing for agents across the country. While the work was fun it didn't have the same meaning he felt when he worked as a worship leader in the local church. So when the opportunity came around to apply all the skills he learned getting real-estates noticed in the community to the local church Ross jumped at the chance! Through the Vibrant Agency Ross helps churches around the country build effective websites and do effective digital outreach. Today Ross shares a few things he has learned that can help you get the word out to the community.

  • Human trafficking can affect as many as 40.3 million people globally. The problem is that most often those who are trafficked are hidden in plain sight. Victims are often hidden behind our assumptions. In other words, human trafficking is the exploitation of vulnerabilities for commercial gain. Exploiters are looking for those who are marginalized and stigmatized. They are looking for the people who won't be noticed by society at large.

For this reason, human trafficking can happen anywhere because there are vulnerable people everywhere. But what would happen if the local church began to take notice of those who are most at risk of exploitation in their communities. Having served in Christian ministry since 2001, Raleigh Sadler believes that the local church is God's answer to those most vulnerable. Currently, he is the founder and executive director of Let My People Go. His passion is to see the local church fight global injustices, like human trafficking, by loving those whom traffickers most often target.
